Feb 16 Fairmont Kea Lani!

Maui is home to so many amazing resorts, and among them is the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea. Seeing this iconic white building just feels like home to me!

When I am planning people's trips to Hawaii, we first work on which island is the best fit for them. If we land on Maui, then I move to which part of the island is the best fit for them. Wailea is home to amazing resort after amazing resort. Kea Lani is at the end of this row of hotel happiness. There is an oceanside path that connects all of the Wailea resorts, and I walked up and down it almost every day I spent there!

The hotels also run shuttles between each other, so if you want to set up dinner reservations at a nearby hotel, it's easy to pop over and go there. I like having this kind of connection, because you know your dining opportunities are endless when you stay in Wailea! I stayed at a few of these hotels, but while I was staying at the Fairmont Kea Lani, I zipped over to the Four Seasons Maui for the Mother's Day brunch (which I can whole heartedly recommend).

One real benefit of staying at Fairmont Kea Lani is that that every single room is a suite here. So many trips to Maui are families or larger groups, and this suite set up is really helpful so that you don't feel crunched. They also have fantastic beachfront villas that give you incredible views combined with luxurious and spacious villas.

The pools at Kea Lani are fantastic. You have three real options. The first is an adult only pool. This is a great place to hit up for some quiet and relaxation.

There is also an upper and lower pool for everyone, and a slide connects them! I can attest first hand that the slide is actually really really fun!

The dining options on property are really outstanding! I particularly love Ko! It was a fantastic asian fusion restaurant and everything I ate there was just perfection!

Hawaii is absolutely known for it's sunsets, and they certainly come out at the Fairmont Kea Lani! I don't think I had much of a point about that for this property, but I really needed to share this sunset pic!
